Wembley drowned in tears: Barry Gibb’s tribute to Ozzy turns into a heartbreaking duet with Paul McCartney that left 80,000 people in stunned silence Barry Gibb was supposed to be celebrating 50 glorious years of music. But that night, the lights dimmed. Alone on stage, hands trembling around his guitar, he choked out the words of “To Love Somebody” — a farewell to his brother in music, Ozzy Osbourne, who had just passed away. Suddenly, through the mist, a familiar figure emerged — Paul McCartney. No announcement. No stage effects. Just two legends standing side by side, their voices blending in raw, aching harmony before a breathless crowd. Behind them, the screen flickered with black-and-white memories of Ozzy — screaming into the mic, laughing with Sharon, holding his children like life itself was slipping away. As the final note fell into silence, Wembley didn’t cheer. It wept. It was no longer a concert — it was a cathedral of grief, of love, and of one last song shared between icons…..full video below 👇👇

Ozzy Osbourne’s family have accompanied the rock legend’s coffin on an emotional final journey through his home city, watched on by thousands of fans who cheered and chanted his name.

A tearful Sharon Osbourne added a pink rose to dozens of tributes left by fans in Birmingham, consoled by family members including children Kelly and Jack.

The large crowd of onlookers created a highly-charged atmosphere, giving the heavy metal star a respectful but fittingly raucous send-off as they chanted: “Ozzy! Ozzy! Ozzy!”

The funeral procession was led by a brass band playing Black Sabbath songs, with Ozzy’s body transported in a hearse topped by a purple floral tribute in the shape of a c

ross.

Ozzy Osbourne’s oldest children, Elliot and Jessica Osbourne, were seemingly absent from his July 30 funeral procession.

Two of the Prince of Darkness’s children from his first marriage didn’t appear in photos from a funeral procession in Birmingham, England, where fans lined the streets to say a final goodbye as the rockstar’s family made their way down the street.

Ozzy’s wife, Sharon, and her children, Aimee, Kelly, and Jack, as well as one of Ozzy’s older sons, Louis, appeared overcome with emotion as they stopped at a bridge named in honor of Black Sabbath and laid flowers at a memorial.

Before starting a family with Sharon, Ozzy was married to his first wife, Thelma Riley, from 1972 until he started dating Sharon, his manager at the time. Upon marrying Thelma, Ozzy adopted her five-year-old son Elliot from a previous relationship before they went on to welcome Jessica and Louis.

Jessica and Elliot were notably left out of a statement from the Osbourne family announcing Ozzy’s July 22 death.

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family’s privacy at this time,” the statement read. It was signed off as, “Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”
